Book NowDental Bridges
A dental bridge is a fixed way to replace one or more missing teeth using the neighbouring teeth as supports. Custom crowns are placed on the teeth next to the space and a natural-looking replacement tooth is attached between them, filling the gap so you can chew, speak, and smile with confidence again.

Our process
Step-by-step approach to your treatment
We follow a structured, imaging-based workflow so that bridge treatment feels predictable and well planned.
Technology & Approach
We use modern X-rays and, when needed, advanced imaging to assess bone levels and the health of the supporting teeth before recommending a bridge. Your bridge is made from strong, tooth-coloured materials that are shade-matched to your natural teeth, and carefully shaped for comfortable chewing and a natural appearance. Gentle local anaesthesia and, where appropriate, sedation options help keep the experience relaxed.
1. Consultation and treatment planning
30–45 minutesWe start with a detailed conversation about your goals and the different ways to replace a missing tooth, including implants, bridges, and removable options. If a bridge is right for you, we review your X-rays and plan the treatment.
2. Tooth preparation and impressions
60–90 minutesWe numb the area comfortably, prepare the supporting teeth, and take impressions to guide the lab in designing your bridge. A temporary bridge protects the area and allows you to function while the final piece is made.
3. Final fitting and bonding
30–45 minutesWhen your bridge returns from the lab, we remove the temporary, try in the new bridge, adjust the bite and appearance, and then bond it securely into place.
4. Ongoing monitoring
Regular check-upsWe continue to monitor the bridge and supporting teeth at your regular check-ups to keep everything healthy and stable.
Longevity & Maintenance
Outcome Durability (based on longevity + maintenance needs)
Reliable but Maintenance-Sensitive — Effective and predictable, though may need periodic adjustments or touch-ups.

How Long It Lasts
Dental bridges typically last 10–15 years with consistent care. Many last longer when the supporting teeth and gums stay healthy.
What Affects Longevity
Strength of the anchor teeth, gum health, bite balance, and avoiding excessive forces play major roles in durability.
Routine Care
Clean under the bridge daily, use floss threaders or interdental brushes, wear protection when grinding, and maintain regular professional cleanings.
Still have the tooth but it's damaged?
When a crown may be all you need
If the tooth is still present but cracked, heavily filled, or sensitive, a single dental crown may be enough to strengthen and protect it without replacing it entirely.

What to expect for cost
Most PPO dental plans provide some coverage for bridges when they are used to replace missing teeth, although benefits and waiting periods vary by plan. Before treatment, we review your specific coverage, estimate your out-of-pocket portion, and explain how timing and annual maximums may affect your options. We also discuss membership savings and payment arrangements, and when it may make sense to compare bridge treatment with an implant or other alternatives.
We'll provide a personalized cost estimate during your consultation. You'll receive a written treatment plan before we begin any work.
